The European University Center for Crime & Justice (EUROCRIM) is an independent research and educational Unit (Laboratory) of Panteion University for Social and Political Sciences of Athens, Greece.
The fields of expertise of EUROCRIM are criminal law & justice, criminology, forensics, criminal policy, as well as crime-related
security and defence studies.
Our Mission
EUROCRIM΄s public, non-profit mission is to provide cutting edge research and education in the fields of crime, security, law and justice. We are committed to offering comprehensive and engaging scientific outputs that foster a deep understanding of the interplay between crime, security, law and public policy.
Our university courses are designed to empower students and professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in the practice of law, criminology and security.

EUROCRIM was founded in 1993 at the Department of Law of Panteion University. Today it operates within the School of Social Sciences according to its Statute published in the Hellenic Government’s Gazette (Volume 1436/24.03.2022).
